The Bier
Today The Company has assembled to demolish 30l of Pyraser (Hilpoltstein, Bayern) Landbier. Life can be pretty good. Thanks to Jonathan for driving it all the way back from Deutschland. Between us we managed to have it chilled and keep it cool.
We need to go back to Hilpoltstein.
The Curry
Yvonne followed Hector’s Recipe but had the forethought to make the now necessary adaptation. One cannot consider Keema Mutter without a good Dose of Methi. The Frozen Methi is less wasteful and easier to use than the Fresh which Glasgow Grocers also stock.
At the point of serving Yvonne consulted The Hector.
What else should I do?
Add more Salt.
The Result? A Stunning Curry. The Seasoning brought out all the Flavours. The Kick was Fierce. There was plenty of it.
The Best Barrel Party ever – remarked Jonathan.
Fear not, a Baby Curry – or Mince, Potatoes and Peas – was kept aside for our Co-host and The Faither.
