Punjabi Tikka – Nikiforou 1, Athina 104 37 Hellas
Located a couple of blocks west of Omonia, and north of the cluster of Curry Cafes on the edge of Psiri, Punjabi Tikka is another welcome addition to the Desi Curry scene in Athena.
The surroundings are modest, there is seating upstairs. Dining al fresco is the norm in the warmer months.
As the name suggests, this is authentic Punjabi Fayre. If one truly enjoys a Karahi, then this is certainly a venue to try. Many Dishes are prepared in advance, for reheating. Saturday is Kofta Day.
The prices are remarkably on the small side for the size of portion. The quoted price tends to include the marvellous Bread, and maybe a Salad & Raita too.
