    Don’t know if you remember the Chandigarh in the West End…28 Vinicombe Street G12 to be exact. Fond memories. Old school Punjabi Style establishment with flock wallpaper and Sitar music. Great after a night out at the many drinking establishments up and down Byres Road.

    I most certainly do remember a Currry House opposite the cinema @1976 but not its name. I do not recall such an exotic name, was this the only one it went by?

    The Green Gates on Bank St was the first curry house I ever ate in. That is going back about 48 years !! I think the owner was called Mr Hook. There was certainly nothing subtle about the curries,especially the Keema which was deadly hot. Happy Days.
