April 2022 saw the final Chettinad enjoyed at Indian Mango under the auspices of the original management featuring Mr. Jolly Kunjappu’s recipes. Mr. Jolly retired, Herr Battra, his long time partner, subsequently opened Dessi Tadka taking the Chef with him. Dessi Tadka is therefore where to find the original fayre.

Rakesh, the new host, was introduced as the handover took place.

Quality North and South Indian Curry continues to be served at Indian Mango (New co.) although the recipes have changed. The extremely – Dry – Fisch/Lamm Chettinad has evolved into a more Mainstream Masala. However, the intensity of Flavour maintains. The presence of – Home-Made Mutton Curry with Bone – confirms that – Desi Curry – has not been abandoned.
