To promote any venue to Hector’s Recommended Curry Houses after only two visits can only occur if the food has been found to be truly outstanding, and has been independently verified.
Rice & Spice has become a must visit venue when visiting Düsseldorf, alas the restaurant is located well to the west of this city, beyond Neuss too. One can take S28 from Düsseldorf Hbf directly to IKEA Kaarst then walk about ten minutes. An alternative with fewer stops: a train to Neuss, then the one stop further on the S28.
Bus 862 has an hourly service between D-Belsenplatz on the west bank of the Rhein, and Kaarst Badeniastraße.

Prices for Curry dishes might seem initially to be on the high side, however, these include both Rice and Bread, plus sundry Dips and Chutneys. Additionally, a Salad may accompany and Chai conclude the meal.
Future visits may see the Hector try to negotiate more actual – Curry.
Between visits #1 and #2, cherry blossom trees were added the interior decor.
Schön – remarked a lady who had chosen to sit out front but finally entered the restaurant.
To the rear of the restaurant, an enclosed garden/patio. Al fresco dining is therefore available for those who prefer to sit outside.
It’s all about the food, to date this has found to be sublime.
